How to Play Investing

By John Sage

Break those rules, and you're going to get punished. Given that you were a kid, you had to follow your parents' rules of the house.

Some rules are plainly mentioned, and you can read them, while others go unmentioned (that's why they call them unspoken guidelines). You must follow the guidelines.

But you might be asking, "What are these rules, John?"

Today I want to kick off this series on Guidelines of the Video game by getting you to believe in a different way about your life. You can't flex the rules to your advantage up until you understand what they are!

What is a Guideline?

Prior to we start, let me cover a couple of basic ideas and ideas for the slower audience (you know who you are).

What is a guideline? Well, a guideline is essentially a broad classification of beliefs that specify how someone believes the world operates. The keyword here is "believes.".

Most of the time, people are running on guidelines that they set for themselves without even realizing it.

Guidelines You Think Exist

What are some guidelines you might unconsciously follow? Well, in my line of work and the people I have actually communicated with, I have actually discovered these to be super typical:
· You require to work more to make more money.
· If you are a hard employee, your work will be rewarded.
· You have to go to school to get a good task.
· The government will take care of you in retirement.

Want to know a typical thing amongst all of these rules? More times than not, these rules are broken.

Find out more about why we fail financially here:

In truth, you're the only one envisioning them, and everyone else is doing simply great without them.

The Other Side

If these fictional rules do not exist and everybody doesn't follow them, what's stopping you from following your own set of guidelines? Really, rules are important; it's simply crucial you're following the right set of rules.

Guidelines must be empowering, they ought to set a standard of conduct for you to follow, they need to have a cause-and-effect relationship with your outcomes, and they should set your protocols and treatments.
